Anyone know a good vest for a sniper and the pouches that would go with it?
We need some more info to help you out. What kind of rifle are your running? Do you have a secondary you need to carry mags for as well? With some more info I'm sure we can get you set up with something that will work for you.
What environment do you play in? What's your budget? Do you want a chest rig, plate carrier or tactical vest? (I'd say go with chest rig but that's all personal preference.) Give us as much info as you can.
If your going to be running the sniper role, you don't want the bulk of a Plate Carrier.
I would recommend a chest rig or battle belt. Once you provide the fine noobs ( ;D ) above with the information, can help pick out a specific rig fit for your needs.
I'm just saying that I saw some sniper loadouts with small PC's like a JPC or 6094.
It could be OK to run something like a JPC, but the preference is to run a small chest rig or a battle belt like I do.
I completely agree with you, but others might not.
Im working on getting a jg gspec and a m9 with two mags, price form 1-200
Im in dead grass with sime woods and a little green...a multicamish enviroment
A little idea of what i want
Do not buy Condor, it will fail on you. If you have a 200$ budget you can do wayyyy better.
You probably want to get a khaki chest rig, like this one,
One problem you will encounter is that there aren't any mag pouches for sniper rifles like the one you're going to buy. So you'll probably want to buy an M14 mag pouch and put two mags in them.
But I'm not very good at that subject so if I'm wrong, somebody else will correct me. Further you could buy a pouch for the other things you're going to carry, something like this,
Hope this helps, and other people might want to add stiff or correct me.
Get a KJW pistol. Friend had the M9 and all the springs broke.
quigon's first link should be this:
It's the same design as the one you linked to, Conn, just made significantly better. It's also available in Multicam to match your pouches. Speaking of which, your pouches:
Though to be honest, any 7.62 mag pouch is going to be huge and your rifle mags are going to swim in them. Maybe somebody here with a similar bolt action rifle can suggest a better mag size, but I would think that a smg sized mag pouch would do the trick.
Might as well do the holster. Here, you're better off buying real gear:
Same for the sling. Airsoft slings suck hard:
Take your pick of the above bunch, but in general VTAC two points are some of the best out there and would serve your purpose very nicely.
Thank you for the correction Knief, though I was close.
U said 7.62 and tgere was a 5.52 wat do those stand for and whats the diffrence
Those are bullet calibers. A 7.62 bullet is larger than a 5.56 bullet, so the mags that hold those bullets are larger. Accordingly, the pouches to hold those mags neex to be larger. Most airsoft rifles use mags similar in size to their real steel counterparts. Those pouches are for assault rifle mags, though, which are much larger than mags for a bolt action rifle, and shaped very differently. The pouches you have listed will be far too large to hold your mags.
7.62 and 5.56 are real steel (real firearms) ammunition types. 7.62 is larger than 5.56. Here's a picture, 7.62 on the left, 5.56 on the right.
Ok thank you everyone u guys really helped, thanks.
We don't mind helping you, but you're going to have to improve your writing to post here. Using texting abbreviations like "u" in place of "you" in a no-go. Please start writing out your words completely. Thanks.
Yes I know it is just habit and i have very bad spelling but anyways thank you again you guys helped ALOT!!
Don't get a pistol that costs more then your rifle. Also don't get a $155 WE. If you want a M9 get the KJW. Way better options out there.
Also if you budget is $200 then why do both the guns in your cart come out to $300... Problem?
