Kinda new to airsoft. Do they make electric sniper rifles?
Electric sniper rifles are called DMRs and only use semi auto I believe.
Thanks that would be helpful to know. Any suggestions on any DMRs?
Usually you have to buy a gun then upgrade it. Also if you want it to be good it will cost you both time and lots of money
Well, if i get a DMR it will primarily be my secondary gun. So im not looking for something extreme. But I will definetly do my research before any purchase. What features should i be looking for while searching for a DMR?
Umm.. I'm not very experienced with DMR's so I won't be much help but basic things are long (quality) barrel, strong spring, good gears, basically every part of the gearbox gets upgraded when people go all out. But hopefully somebody else has better input because I really don't know which are most important
Basically what goes into a DMR build(mine anyways)
-Good Bucking(hard one)
-Steel cylinder head
-Aircseal nozzle (plastic one with o rings)
-steel spring guide with bearings
-Full cylinder(depending on barrel length)
-POM Pistojn head without a bearing
-Radius Cylinder windows on shell
-Shim hop arm
-Glue nozzle on Tappet
-Bigger wire gauge
-11.1v 25+C Lipo
-and stuff I forgot XD
Haha thanks, ill be sure to look for that stuff while searching. That pretty much clears up all my curiosity about DMRs so Thanks everyone.
I think airsoft gi has a g4 dmr u should look at it...... I don't know much about it though
Not a DMR. It just has the aesthetics of one. Won't perform very well in the DMR role stock either.
Airsoft GI customs are crappy. Op can I ask why you will be using a DMR as a secondary?
Well like I said idk much about them
Well I never looked at it I just saw it said dmr...
I already have a very nice full metal thompson that i spent too much money on that I will be using as a primary gun. Id also like a secondary and I really thought it would be cool to have an electric sniper which i found out is called a DMR.
