I'm looking to get into the sniper role and I wanted to know what's a good spring sniper to get for under 300$ and that's not a l96 model I don't really like the feel to them

nope...he only doesn't like the hop up adjuster but that's not really too big of a issue...just make sure you get internal upgrades for it

Are the stock sears okay? Or should they be replaced

I have heard of a couple of problems with the echo1 M28 actually. For one the stock piston can break over time, but have no fear because a member on this forum is currently testing a better one he had made.

Another issue I have is the parts that are compatible with this gun. Here is a good idea of what works and what doesn't.

If you like the M24 platform I would say get the Classic Army M24, lots of great things about that gun like great stock sears and the hopup unit already allows AEG cut inner barrels.

Another less expensive option would be to get a JG bar-10. Great gun to upgrade and a lot of aftermarket parts for it. The gun itself is a clone of the TM vsr-10 which is one of the most common spring powered guns out there.

Not sure about finding one in stock but Airsoftgi carried them.

For the bar-10 the best parts you can buy are pdi and laylax parts but there are other manufacturer's that make great parts as well. If you find parts just ask about them here and people can help you out.
