    Hi!
I'm looking for tightbores for my GHK ak.
I have narrowed down my choice to two options:
    A prommy 6.03 that is $70

An action army 6.01 that is $24, yet I've heard good things.

I'm looking for an FPS boost (both will give me one), accuracy at range, consistency, and viability in a GBBR platform.
Will be using maple leaf 70˚ blue.
If ya'll think the 6.01 is OK, I'm willing to clean after every game day etc.
    Its mostly a price issue.
    Thanks a million!

I will try to look more at the material the barrel is made off and the kind of polishing the inside bore has. I would lean for the 6.03, but both seem good options. Good luck.

The Prometheus is good. But for value for money consider the ZCI stainless steel 6.02.

On a GBBR, avoid too tight of barrels. Residue from your gun will build up and cause jams and accuracy issues in my experience.

The tightest I ever ran on mine were 6.05 and I kept up on maintenance and they were solid shooters. GBBR accuracy is more about consistency tuning and regular maintenance than anything.

I agree, it's more about quality than diameter, and that small FPS boost will have marginal effect on range anyway.

    Thanks all.
Honestly going to stick with OEM barrel and go with a maple leaf 70˚.
    I rechronoed and it's hitting 375 with .25!
    Thanks all.
