On ehobby asia, I just happened to stumble upon these two, and just cant decide which one......

Now I know your going to say, "This belongs in da Which gun should I get section!!!!!!!", but I have another problem.

One of the reviews for the TM version says that the TM G18 is not propane/green gas ready, and has to use HF134 gas or something like that.

This leads me to search up this kind of gas only to discover it must be used for all Jap GBBs (KSC!!:(

Is this true? Help would be appreciated!

GG and propane can be used in either safely. Japan just has a 300FPS limit everywhere, and that gas lowers FPS pretty much.

I would get the KSC. Already metal slide. Performance will be similar, quality is similar (both great) but the KSC has a metal slide. Always a plus.

What if the TM had a metal slide stock?

What does it change? TMs are green gas ready, it just is not stated anywhere. I'd buy a Tokyo Marui gun just because I am a fan of it.

I personally trust the Japanese plastic with propane/topgas/greengas.

also: KSC japan (plastic), KSC taiwan (metal)

KSC's glocks rule the roost. They've been the leader for almost a decade now, and everything about them is just fantastic.

I suggest the KSC just because it already has the metal slide

Thatguy listed "Plastic slide" as the TM's only con. So what if the TM had a metal slide?

Having owned both I'm much more impressed with a TM glock. The KSC just didn't have the same accuracy or range in comparison. However, the metal slide was a plus. I now have a TM with a metal slide and love it. Best pistol I have shot by far.

Well if you get a metal slide on it, then you should get the TM

WE guns tend to have higher failure rates and bad gas efficiency.

2 weeks... A WE will most likely last 6 months. A TM/KSC, forever...

But the price difference between the KSC and the TM is quite significant considering that the KSC comes with a metal slide. So are you paying more for the TM label than the gun?
