I have an intellect battery and I was wondering what I put the smart charger on 1.0A or 2.0A what is the difference and why does my battery say 1.2v or is it 1.2v per cell?

You need to know how many mAh the battery is. For anything up to 2200mAh, use the 1.0 switch. Anything above that, use 2.0 (note that some mAh are too high, I think around 4000). As for the voltage, I'm not 100% sure but 1.2v x 8cell = 9.6v, so you should be fine.

    It's 1.2v per cell. 9.6v = 8 cells.

1.0A/2.0A = basically the charging speed.

Try to always use the 1.0. It will take longer but give a fuller charge. Also you can use the edit button instead of making a separate post
