Nice guns. How well do they shoot? I know these are upgraded but wondering about performance comparison against TM USPc and (newer) USP.
Thank you.I like both of these alot. They both shoot very well thanks to the chamber adjustment design both use.The SCS design uses a simple set screw, from the top, straight down for adjustment. They have, for all intent and purposes, factory TDC's installed in them.I would place range somewhere in the 40-50 meter mark with .32's

WE Apache ACR.I bought this one a few yrs ago for cheap with six 45rd mags.It was painted sand, and was in a fairly pitiful state. It sat around for awhile, until one day I decided to clean it up and do it.I stripped all the paint away with charcoal starter and a brass brush after disassembly.I purchased zero parts for this one save the AW drum, high power nozzle, and optic.Everything else came from my spare parts. It originally had a collapsible stock.Im not a fan of HK collapsible stocks. They typically are too short for me,and have poor,to non-existent cheek weld.I removed the collapsible stock, and its hardware from the base plate, and after making some backing plates was able to use the back plate for the A&K ACR stock.Apaches are not RS 1:1 scale being closer to aeg scale I think.I installed an S&T MP5 toprail with cocking tube endcap, with KWA MP7 irons, and RS FC1 red dot.G&G MP5 railed handguard with rail armor panels, and ACR forward grip I shot with black Flex Seal.Nitro VO G3 magazine extended magazine release, modified Laylax M4 magwell and magwell cover, along with a Matrix M4 muzzle brake finishes out the externals on the rifle.Mechanically not much was needed honestly as it cycled beautifully.I replaced the hammer with a Tactical Specialists hammer, and replaced the hammer strut with a RS one.I polished all bolt guides, crosshatched the bolta loading nozzle well, and upgraded the loading nozzle to a high power loading nozzle.I also polished the cocking handle extension.Chamber houses an Angel Custom 6.01x 240 mm inner barrel I believe with ML Decepticon 70 bucking.I painted it Duracoat Diamond Plate grey.Rifle fires and shoots great. With the AW drum installed on burst you can run and gun against aeg's.Cycle test vid:New video by Michael Wells Notice the complete lack of cooldown

TK USP40.I own four of these with this one being by far the very nicest. This particular one has nearly every single upgrade available for one of these pistols.Zeke lightening cut milled slide,Sherrif milled steel outer barrel, hammer, and steel chamber.OK Products spring set.Tanio Koba full auto unit with scope mount base, offset compensator, tight bore barrel, and 60rd extended magazine.Only thing I'm missing on this is the rear iron sight cocking handle to complete it.The fullauto unit works by keeping the trigger right at the point where it just breaks, and leaving it there. To keep wear down to a minimum,I only fire this pistol using Flon gas,and very infrequently.Just enough to maintain its functionality.Fullauto is fun to use,and is IMO the only thing that justifies the added weight of the fullauto unit and 60rd mag.

MP5 Woody.I built this as a "what if"rifle. What if the MP5 came out at the same time as the G3.I ordered the parts, and got to work.Mechanically its a Gen1 rifle. This means it has a six piece bolt,(bolt, loading nozzle, cylinder, bolt head, and bolt guides X2) SEF trigger pack,(safe, single, fullauto)and chamber adjustment AR style with a set screw under the feed ramp. The chamber design on these wasn't very thought out.The ejection port being for a 9mm makes chamber adjustment at the ejection port impossible. To adjust the chamber on these requires nearly total rifle disassembly, and at the end of it all the chamber is poor.I opted to upgrade this one,and my other two to Gen2 chambers wnd outer barrels.A far superior design that requires the removal of the handguard.I installed a cut to length Angel Custom inner barrel and ML Decepticon 70 bucking. For the bolt I installed the Crusader bolt head and cylinder. The Crusader bolt head is a nice touch because of its realism.Next I installed Azimuth bolt guides.I finished it off by polishing the bolt and guides along with crosshatching the cylinder.Next I removed the cocking handle, wnd cocking handle extension, then polished the extension for smooth operation.I then turned my attention to the outside of the rifle.I removed the rear steel trim piece from the back side of the G3 wooden handguard.I chose this side because the back trim is held on by only a single rivet. After drilling out the river I removed the trim, and did some measuring on the rifle. My compound sliding mitre saw made very short work of cutting the handguard to size. After test fitting,I epoxied the trim to the handguard, snd also epoxied the rivet to the trim.To attach a wooden handguard to a 1:1 scale MP5 requires an HK53 backplate.HK53 backplates are dimensionally similar to G3 backplates, but have only one takedown pin hole. After shooting it with Duracoat matte black,I installed the stock, and the recoil guide rod and spring to the backplate, and installed the assembly on the rifle.I picked up the wooden pistol grip from RobertRTG parts. Its a G3 pustol grip designed for the steel G3 SEF lower.I happened to have kept my VFC G3 lower and selector.G3 lowers fit right onto MP5's with a simple trim of the tail to allow it to fit inside the backplate.G3's and MP5's use the same trigger packs with the exception of the triggers and ejectors. The VFC G3 selector works perfectly in the MP5 trigger pack because both the G3 and Gen1 MP5 both use SEF trigger packs.I finished it off with an MGC HK high stanag scope mount with rings, and a Leupold Gilmore red dot.

WA Golgo13 G13A3SV.TM was the first company to make an airsoft vs of Duke Togo's rifle of choice. After WA introduced there gbb AR's they made their own limited vs.Unlike the TM,the WA version comes in its own carry case, and is the only WA AR style rifle that came from the factory full metal.

What I like best about your collection is the rare Japanese relics, most of which I didn't even know existed. A full-metal WA Golgo 13 GBBR? That's wild! I think the TM version came with a carry case but no where as nice as the one this one has.

Thanks, this is what I was after. To show you all some of the seriously cool old stuff, and tell a little of the history of it.I like to think your right about both Golgo13's.WA wanted to make there's a bit more special.

I’m just glad I can admire your photos and not have to own them myself. GBBRs are still one of the great airsoft mysteries of the world as far as my brain is concerned.
I used electrics for 15yrs before gbbr's became practical enough to use.Ive built all kinds.Field rifles,DMR's,Sniper rifles, and DSG's.Trust me when I tell you there is no mystery to gas guns. They are simplistic, and straight forward.Even more so than electrics. No gear ratios to consider,no shimming to master, batteries to consider.None of that. The best part of them is they are way more fun to use than any electric.EBB's pale in comparison

MG3KWS.I was browsing the net one night at work, and came upon a pic of one of these RS monsters and had to have one.For those who are unfamiliar with the KWS variant,it is a kit offered by Rheinmetall that converts a standard issue MG3 into the assault variant.Kit comes with the stock that has cheek riser and monopod rail, toprail for optics, accessory rails,50rd HK drum, and FCG that allows three firing positions (safe, semi, and fullauto)As it happened, and acquaintance of mine had an MG42 for sale and I snatched it up.As it also happened a fellow member here also had the same idea I did,but was only interested in an MG3 conversion.Quite alot of the process I did I added to his build thread here:S&T/AGM MG42 externals help. GB I completely went through, and improved compression, and power, also adding a Gate Warfet.Upgraded the barrel to an Rhopped ZCI 6.03x450mm with Prommy purple bucking.Chronos at 1.8j with. 2's and puts out lasers to 80m's with .32's.This is a good thing.Wt 47" long and 22lbs a sling is a godsend, and your not going to want to ro very much running around with something like this

Yet another electric, this time one of my dinosaur electrics. My CA G3 made into a stylized G3A3ZF,or "grandpas PSG1".The G3 is probably hands down my favorite.I own four electrics,a gas, three PSG1'S,and a gas MSG90A1.As airsoft tech advanced,I continued to improve, and retrofit my old electrics to keep pace with advancements.I installed a complete Systema M150 GB in this one thats been completely gone through including parts swaps, reshimming, polishing, air sealing, etc, including the addition of a simple mosfet.Chamber is a CA metal chamber, with PDI 6.05x509 inner barrel,Prommy purple bucking with contact patch shaved off,and Firefly Namazu flatspacer. All of this combined allows this rifle to fire .4's at 2.8j.I typically use .43's or .45's,which yield ranges of 100m's plus.Im a really big fan of the Firefly Namazu.IMO the next best thing to an rhop there is.I wanted this one to have a worn, old campaign rifle vibe.To help achieve this I distressed the rifle, and parts I installed on it.HK wooden furniture, with Begadi wooden palm shelf motor pistol grip.HK carry handle,1200m diopter sight, leather sling, and port buffer.UTG high STANAG scope mount with long discontinued Lepers Accushot 4XT38 STANAG scope .A TM HK53 fluted and ported outer barrel finishes it out.

HK MSG90A1.The base for this one is a VFC PSG1.I wanted an MSG90A1 for my collection, and already have PSG1'S.These,the G3's,and Gen2 MP5's are seriously good shooting guns.IMO probably the best ones VFC has made so far.The secret to them is the rotary chamber they all use,and in the case of the PSG and G3 the npas loading nozzle. The VFC PSG1 really requires no upgrades at all,and absolutely demands heavyweight ammo.Mine on testing chronoed at 2.8j's and overhopped .36's at 80m's.With .43's or .45's shoots extremely nicely out over 90m's easily. To pull this off I first removed the STANAG scope mounts.I then bought a Midwest Firearms G3 extended scope mount base, and removed the mounting bracket closest to the ejection port for silent decocker clearance. After that I removed the lower third of a G3 front sight triple frame, reamed the cocking tube section a bit,and installed it on the end of the cocking tube. After that it was a simple matter of notching either side of the very front of the handguard cocking tube channel for front sight clearance. The uppers on these have no rear iron sight base like G3's and other old pattern HK's have.I ordered said iron sight base, and 1200M diopter. After centering and clamping,I TIG welded the sight base to the upper, and installed the diopter.MSG's use essentially the same trigger pack as the PSG.MSG's use their very own trigger housing. The VFC PSG doesnt use a trigger pack like the MSG/PSG, but rather a semi only pack using the same trigger pack frame as the G3.Fearing fitment and clearance issues,I opted for a SEF navy lower.Trigger pack installation was easy and straightforward. While I was at it I removed the plastic cover for the magazine paddle release, and installed a paddle release also.To pull off a convincing build of one of these IMO absolutely requires the MSG90 stock. Its a key element. After a solid two weeks of searching here, there, and all points inbetween I finally tracked down an HK MSG90 stock.Factory stocks are all MSG90's.I wanted mine to be the A1 variant,so I also ordered an HK21 stock buttpad.after both arrived,I removed the stock from its back plate, and installed it onto the PSG backplate.Next I removed the spring clips from the backing plate on the buttpad. The backing plate is aluminum, and the buttpad itself is simply glued on.I used a jewlers on the backing plate to soften the glue, and remove the rubber pad.I then measured the thickness of the backing plate, and applied that measurement to the butt end of the MSG90 stock. The stock is all polymer except the adjustment bolts,so a hacksaw made short work of removing the end of the stocks butt. Some epoxy, and creative clamping affixed the rubber buttpad to the end of the MSG90 stock.Adding the Harris clone bipod finished it for now.I do need to revisit it,and make the barrel stabilizer with Rotex muzzle brake mount along with repainting.Maybe this spring.

G3 DSG Special.I built this one yrs ago with the intent to make a scaled down version of one of my others.Durring the build process it started to go in its own direction.Receivers are CA.Cocking tube assembly is from a UK Arms MP5 that I shortened between MP5 and SAS length.I cut the cocking tube into three pieces, made a sleeve from aluminum tubing, then epoxied it all back together, and finished with sanding and paint. The cocking handle extension was also shortened to the new length.Next,I installed a Nitro VO MP5 Swordfish front end, after trimming and reshaping the side plates to allow for cocking handle clearance. That complete,I also shortened a Nitro VO G3 SAS length monolithic toprail to fit also.I wanted to give it a railed handguard.I cut severe notches into a JG G3 handguard.I cut the notches into it so that the rifle would have a full length handguard for it's size, and the left over rail would slide over either side of the upper. After that was done,I modified a JG G3 SAS backplate to accept a G&P Marine battery stock by cutting a hole in the back of the backing plate to accept the buffer tube mount from a doner AR aeg lower.I secured the buffer mount to the back plate by brazing it in place from the inside.Cutting down and rethreading a stock mounting screw completed the assembly.GB is a radiused, Lonex 8mm case with solid bearing, and full Seigetek 10:1 DSG gears, and yada yada you guys have read all the rest, with simple fet.I built this yrs ago so the barrel and bucking specs have been forgotten.Sorry.On an M170 spring, this thing shoots 370 on the money,at quite a high rof.I finished it off with a laser, tac light,Eotech replica,MP7 irons, and AR magwell grip with pressure pad pockets.A G3 is actually a good choice for something like this given its 500rd high caps, and rotary chamber. However for casual play its a bit unfair IMO.Seriously easy to overshoot, and the withering hail of bb's it puts out will earn you few friends.Im not going to get into the voracious appetite for ammo. After observing this first hand,I rarely use it anymore.
