^Ares Optics is Garbage...all you can use them for is looks...not function. Same issue with the L85 units.

Can you do anything with a KSC HK33?

The red dots are for sure. The optical scope on the G36 while being accurate to the original isnt all that great honestly.Eye relief is poor. The KSC HK33?Boy thats a blast from the past.Pity they were probably KSC's worst attempts.Sadly I really doubt it man. When they were new they had zero aftermarket support as you know. Now,even spare parts for those would be a pita to find I would imagine

I have an orphaned HK33 with one spare complete mechbox. It came in to the US in 2004-ish, it stripped a gear, so I sourced a spare mechbox, I never fixed it and let it sit...then sold it off when I moved to Hawaii in 2006...then 15 months ago I got a liquidation collection sale for items from a guy in Indiana. I knew there was an HK33 in the deal...when I opened the box...I saw this PSU box with "Spare mechbox" written on the outside in my hand writing on it. This gun came full circle back to me after 15 years!

It still works as intended as a springer when it loses power.

Wow,its a small world isn't it?I have never messed with them, but I have known people who have had them.there isn't much that can be done with them other than ensure they are shimmed correctly, and they have good compression.Sorry to say thats about it.

Thanks for letting me know. I have a TM G36K and have been trying to find a G36 repro red dot to put on the top rail. Ares replicas are the only ones that seem to have it but it seems like they're only good to complete the look.

They are probably the best airsoft versions you can find

KSC G17 Gold Medal Shuey Custom.Yet another, limited edition Glock from KSC.For those that don't know,Shuey Custom is a custom builder of pistols, and are more known for their 1911's.This one is another example of KSC acquiring licensing to produce limited edition pistols.

Tanaka Pre Ban AICS(Accuracy International Chassis System).I acquired this one from a friend. It has already been converted to VSR barrels and buckings with a Action Army chamber, which is a clone of the Creation chamber. The inner barrel is an unbridged, recut, and crowned PDI cut to 500mm with a 6.01mm bore size.Bucking is an ML Deception 70 with curved brass spacer and spring tensioner. The rest of the rifle is all Falcon trigger and bolt parts.Clocks in at 3.3j with .43's,and I've made shots with this thing at 115m's later measured with my laser ranger finder. The only achilles heal these rifles have is the stock, hicap Tanaka magazine. The King Arms magazine is far and again superior.

Tanaka Pre Ban M24.I bpight this rifle cheap in Japan and imported it over here. When it arrived I was amazed to find it in near pristine condition, with very little,if sny wear at all.I disassembled it and went to work.Trigger group was taken completely apart, cleaned, polished, regreased, and upgrade Falcon steel sear installed.Bolt was taken apart, cleaned, polished, also regreased, and all Falcon steel parts installed in it aswell.Breach was removed, cleaned and also polished for extremely smooth bolt throws.I'd like to point out as I didnt earlier that this is my practice with ALL Tanakas.Rifles uses an AA chamber,ML Decepticon 70,brass,curved spacer with spring of my own making, and unbridged, spacer window modded PDI 6.01x500mm barrel.Extremely smooth bolt pull, with a range inexcess of 100m+ at 3.4j with .45g ammo

Maruzen M1100 shorty. This one was actually the first M1100 I picked up,and built it from two shotguns. The first was a full metal M1100 consisting of the Zeke receiver and trigger guard paired with a G&P Mad Dog forearm, and ****erson Arms polymer over folding stock. The Maruzen engine was broken,wo I swapped engines with my M1100 Revision. The Revision model was made to address the flaws of the M1100 line. These have hardened extractors, and better orings. In previous models the extractors were softer than the shell bases which caused the extractors to eventually wear out and caused stove piping in the receiver. The better seals allow the rifle to handle higher power gas.Previous models would eventually wear out orings and fail.A fairly handy little shotgun that works very well for clearing rooms, and as a backup.

Tanaka Pre Ban Mauser KAR98K BNZ.Of all the Tanaka Mausers, the BNZ model is the most collectible for its sheer attention to detail. The BNZ model is a replica of the service rifle made in Austria for the SS after its annexation by Germany towards the beginning of WWII.I have essentially fully kitted this one with replica WWI era action cover, sling, scope mount base, and Tanaka ZF41 replica scope.Mechanically its completely upgraded with Falcon bolt and trigger group parts.Chamber is Zeta Labs VSR conversion chamber with ML CJ 6.01x590 barrel, backed by an ML Deception 70 bucking.Of all the Tanakas Ive shot(I have all of them save the Arisaka)the Mauser has the most power and best designed VSR conversion chamber. With the bolt opened up to its fullest extent, the Mauser is capable of power in excess of 700fps.The Zeta Lab chamber is capable of extremely minute adjustment.I took full advantage of this by using this rifle to perfect my brass, curved spring tensioned flat spacers. These spacers allow full access to the buckings contact patch, while keeping energy robbing drag to a minimum. The spacer keeps the contact patch flat, imparting the maximum amount of backsping possible. The spring ensures the flat spacer doesnt over tension the bb as it passes through the bucking during firing. The result of this is at 4j with 45's this rifle has a max range of 140m's.I keep it dialed in to 3j's with .45's for level flight out to 100m's.Of all my Tanakas the Mauser is probably my favorite. My only complaint about them is the Tanaka ZF41 scope. Its not even a ZF41, but actually a ZF39.Its all rather chintzy made in comparison to the rifle itself.I will say its quite usable considering how far forward the scope is mounted.Cross hairs are excellent, and you have an excellent periferal view on either side of the scope.I will eventually get a proper museum quality scope for it along with a matching mount base.

WA M4.I bought this rifle a few yrs ago with a broken bolt catch, and totally stock.I replaced the bolt catch with a G&P WOC catch, and have since installed a Zeke receiver kit with Colt trades.Fires very nicely with a very snappy cycle on propane thanks to its light weight buffer, spring, and aluminum bolt. This one is an ongoing project as I continue to find upgrade parts for it.

I have the same barrel extender on one of my KMP9s. I took a peice of mountain bike innertube, and stretched it over the barrel extender. Makes for a nice protective sleave, covers the markings on it, and even shows the dimples too!
Nice looking rifle.

Nice looking rifle.
The rifle came with it.Im not such a fan of suppressors on carbines or rifles, but this one is so short it works.Cool teick witj the inner tube.If its ok with you I just might have to borrow that for the future. This rifle here I am in no hurry to finish. It,like the Golgo13 have there own coolness factor thing going on being old.

i am looking for a sniper and ghillie suit
I dont think you're quite following when I say expand on this. What kind of rifle?Gas,springer, what? The second part of your question you can answer for yourself online.Searcu engines are full of them, completely done, bit not very good,in kit form you make yourself,or you can commission one to be made.Personally I dont use them.In the summer they are hot to beat all hell, and you take a very big chance of picking up hitch hikers on your way home.
