    Hello AirsoftSociety,
I recently found a Umarex Mp7 aeg preowned for cheap. However, is this gun good enough to be a secondary and possibly a primary for friends who don't own a gun yet? Here is the link:

. Also, will these mags fit this gun?

    .
Thank you in advance, and I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, but I believe this is the right section.

Just save up for a KWA MP7, it will be a lot better, and will have a stronger FPS, and it will last longer.

Normally, I would save up for the KWA. However, I can get this for $30 which is pretty good I think, if this gun is decent. Have you had personal experience with this gun, or know anyone who has? Additionally, I prefer the electric as opposed to gas, but that's just me.

Trust me, you'll get a bigger bang for your buck, if you get the KWA version

Its a lpeg, nuff said. But for 30 bucks... Eh... Maybe pass as a loner gun, fine for back yard I think. Yeah those mags should fit.

For $30... your call. The gun is decent, (I know, I have a friend who owns one.) but it is definitely not field worthy. If all you play is cqb it's fine, but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary.

It is an lpeg? I was under the impression that it was an AEP. And I'm guessing there are no aftermarket parts for it. It is my first AEP( if it is indeed that) so is do most AEPs still have metal internals? I couldn't tell if the mp7 did have them or not.
EDIT: thank you for the replies so far! Keep 'em coming!

The umarex is actually ok as long as you use .2s. My friend insists on using .12s and the bb's fly everywhere. I put some .12s through it and it did pretty good.

Thank you everyone who has replied, I really do appreciate it! I think I will end up buying this gun. If anyone else has experience or info on this gun, please continue to share!
