I've been looking at purchasing a backup field rifle for $100-150 and found this full metal Classic Army M15A4. From what I've heard, CA makes solid products (never owned one). It's a second generation, but it has been upgraded. I'm not a tech... so, I ask you guys is this decent?

    Inner Barrel: 363mm, 6.08mm
Muzzle Velocity: 430 FPS (Measured with 0.20g BBs)
    Thread Direction: 14mm Negative
Gearbox: Ver 2 Full Metal, Fully Upgradeable
    Motor: Long Type
    Fire Modes: Semi/Full-Auto, Safety

    Upgrades:
    SRC hopup unit
    Matrix M120 spring
    Matrix aluminum air nozzle
Matrix full metal teeth speed piston
    KWA cylinder
    KWA cylinder head
    Classic Army torque up gears
Matrix 3000 magnum torque up motor

Sounds nice besides the KWA stuff, and I hate over M110. How much is this guy asking, it may be a good thing to pick up!

I was sort of thinking the same thing. It says upgrades... I just want to make sure that he didn't swap out the good parts for junk. He's asking $150. I'd like to persuade him to lower the price a bit.

Thats a decent list. Besides the matrix and KWA.

$150 seems like a good price. Just make sure you ask him how it performs. 430 FPS is useless if the bb can't travel more than 75 feet.

Hmmm... That's primarily what the upgrades consist of.

Is it the sportline or Proline?

It has a full metal receiver, so I imagine that it's from the proline series.

I believe it is a good deal regardless.
The CA Sportlines are criticized for some weak internal pieces, but they all seem to have been replaced.
Plus, you get a metal trademarked body.
