Added a 455mm tight bore and a systema bucking to a previous CQB m4 and the accuracy was greatly reduced. Only thing i can think of doing to resolve is to pick up a type 0 non ported cylinder to match the barrel volume better. Is this my only problem? Any other suggestions?

How long was your original barrel? What brand TBB did you get? We need a little more info. But it may be a cylinder related issue like you said.

The original barrel was a stock G&G at 300mm while the new one is made by modify. Probably going to get a new Madbull or Prommy tight bore though.

    Modify barrels are eh.

    Madbull or Prommy 6.03.
Or you can try to TK Twist and Orga 6.23 :p

And you definitely need type 0 cylinder for that length.

Remember to stabilize the barrel, and longer isn't necessarily better, you know.

Similar thing happened to me when I installed a madbull 6.01 in my ak47. Damn thing jammed every other shot, complete waste of $45. And i was using King Arms and GoldenBall bbs. Whatever you do, never buy a 6.01, I learned that the hard way.

I mainly only use the silicone to get the bucking and barrel in to the hopup. Should I be applying more to the inside of the chamber and bucking as well?

No, keep it dry inside. You're doing it right.

Be sure to wear in the bucking appropriately also. They don't just drop in and perform. Needa work that rubber ;)
