Keep your handguard slightly open and use tape.....

How?? And do you have a better idea? It's not like tape is going to kill handguards.

The hand guard could cut the wire plus it stays open at like 40 degrees because its wired weird

    Cut off the extra inch.
In all seriousness though, I would say make a battery bag/box. Or you could just use duct tape...

Edit- Damn, I'm a slow typer.

....The handguard won't be closed....and okay? I don't understand people that don't put requirements in the OP, and then when people offer answer they go, no I don't want that because it would look weird.

What size battery is that? Do you have a smaller one? What about borrowing?

It's not that it looks weird it's wired weird so I couldn't leave it half closed without a huge risk of the hand guard cutting the wiring

Edit as far as I can tell I can't feed the wire outside of the guard.
