I think this is pretty accurate and good. Again im trying to replicate the USMC Snipers woodland/forest setup, not the urban warfare setups like we have today, so yeah feel free to leave feedback and suggestions

When you finish the ghillie, post a picture up on here. I'm pretty interested in how this turns out.

Alright will do, and so y'all know, the Ghillie might take more than a month to finish, I'm goin for more of a spec op type Ghillie rather than just the basic Ghillie, I'm gonna put all the burlap on the back of both the jacket and pants, then ima put some padding on the inside with two large tan patches on the front flaps of the jacket and on the thighs of the pants so when crawling it doesn't tear up the bdu, then I'm gonna take a vest, cut the front flaps where all the pouches are and put them on the bdu under the tan flaps..and that should be all so when all is done I'll post pics

I made a gun wrap with the WWI style wool leg wrap in green and I cut slits in it and weaved vines and leaves through it and it held up good till the stuff started decaying. Only problem besides that is it was hard to get to wrap around the gun without blocking the sights. Although I think if I took the string to tie it down and cut it off and just used that it would've worked better. (the string was flat and thin rather then a standard round string). That's just an idea and idk if I would actually do that again unless I had synthetic leaves.

What you could try doing is after you make the wrap is take off the sights and put the wrap around the gun, secure it, and then what you do is you cut holes where the rings would mount onto the rails, put the sight on, and then cut a piece that would just cover the length of the scope or wrap around it and put it on, and that shouldnt get in the way of the sight, and if you want to go more tactical, cut holes where the adjustment knobs are and the zoom adjustment, and then out of metal mesh or regular mesh with a plastic ring, cut out a circle thatll fit over the scope or lense, paint it black, and if the holes are too small, cut a 1/4" hole right in the center, and that should take care of the reflection coming from the scope when the sun hits it and it giving away your position.
