I have an UZI smg and it says to use only 6mm 12g bbs, will it hurt the gun to use 6mm 12g?
This is the Uzi I'm talking about doing 6mm 12g
If that's a spring gun, you'll be fine.
ok I'l try it later on
Yep. That'll perform quite nicely (LOL) on .12s.
I don't think it will be able to shoot anything heavier than .12s very far.
I doubt it would shoot .6 very far.
I would use .20 anyway...
But I don't want to ruin the gun
Ya but 12g is lighter than 20g
That doesn't matter. We are talking about the quality of the BBs. Also, I think we are qualified to say this because some of us have guns of higher quality that we have built ourselves, not to mention we have been airsofting for years.
Look you would be fine shooting .20 as well as .12. As long as its 6mm you will be fine. Of course it won't shoot far with .20 and will be horribly inaccurate with .12s.
In other words- use what you feel comfortable with.
Guys, keep this debate civilized.
Trying to keep it that way
Uzimaster, the .20's will give you better accuracy and maybe take away a tiny bit of range, but in a springer like that, well you're going to want the best accuracy you can get.
I would invest in a decent primary before worrying about ammo weight and the size of bb.
