Hi guys, just ordered my first GBBR. Its a WE g39. I was seeing if anyone who owns this gun could give me some tips on proper maintenance and any possible issues common with this rifle.

    Thanks

Don't own one but cleaned my friends. Just make sure to clean all the silicone off before putting fresh silicone on and go easy with the silicone. Other than that its we tech best gun.

Thanks, I've always feared getting a gas rifle b/c of the maintenance but after watching a few vids and listening to what you are saying it seems the g39 is one of the easier rifles to maintain. Appreciate the feedback

    That grammar. Lol.

OP, use a tad of silicone grease on the moving parts like the bolt. It'll stay there better and lubricate it for longer. Silicone oil on your air seal parts to revitalize them after being exposed todry propane. When storing your mags, fill them a bit and get some silicone inside the mags.
