    1. There is no such thing as a best gun. All guns do the same thing shoot BBs.

2.set a buget for yourself and stick to it, consider what accessories the gun comes with. Try to save room in your buget for other playing accessories.

3.take into consideration were you'll be playing airsoft in a arena, or even in the woods.

Let me tell you some guns in the assault rifle class.
1.AR-15, this gun is soot able for most environments.
    2. AK-47, full length AK's are best suited for medium long range environments.

    Some other guns are
    AK-47 with rails
    Masda
    P90
    AR-15
    Sig-552
    And finally the P5

Thank you guys for reading and I'll see you next time

This guide is very subpar, has invalid/misleading information, and honestly needs A LOT of work...
Please take the time to view existing tutorials and guides to see the standard we look for on this forum.

If this is still a work in progress, type it out in MS Word (or similar program) in full, THEN post it publicly.

Additionally, we have an existing sticky of this topic: http://www.airsoftsociety.com/forums/f88/things-consider-when-choosing-airsoft-gun-25822/
