I want to buy or get cheap plywood in MI for my battlefield where's the best place to buy it?
A lumber/Home Improvement store?
Here are a couple:
How much does it usualy cost. (I'm on a budget)
Call them and ask.
I don't live in your market, you do.
Another option you could take would be to go to a community or something that's being built. Talk to the worker in CHARGE and ask if you can buy some left over lumber or plywood that isn't being used. If you do this they may just give you some already cut plywood, but you'll probably get it pretty cheap, then when you get home you can level it off and it should work.
Please note however, that it is a construction site and you shouldn't be climbing around in it looking for stuff. Wait until the end of the work day and try to talk to the Forman before he leaves. Don't ever steal wood from worksites and don't fool around in them.
I'll stick with the home depot plan
I clicked on the thread title, and was utterly shocked at what was inside...seriousness.
Go to your local stores, and see if they have a pallets they want to give away. They are usually good for wood.
What do you mean??????
Or you just take it from the dumpsters.
Tried it. There's no good dumpster wood
That also can be seen as theft though. And that could get you in trouble. Best bet would be to just ask the workers if you can grab a couple pieces from the bin. Chances are they will let you anyway.
I'll just buy the wood from home depot!!!
Yea I know they will be throwing that out.
