Whenever I mention to people who paintball that I airsoft, they always say something like, "Oh, you should play paintball. It's way better./It hurts more./It's more fun." The way I see it, the only thing paintball has going for it is the fact that the paint leave a mark, so you can't lie about being hit. I'll admit, that is a pretty big point, but airsoft has so many more pros that outweigh the fact that it doesn't always leave a mark. Airsoft Pros: Realism Cost Range Rate of Fire Accuracy Gun type variance (shotguns, snipers, assault rifles, LMGs, etc.) Paintball Pros: Paint Slightly larger player base. Recognized as a sport I just don't understand why people think that paintball is so much better than airsoft. Does anyone have any theories? Any Ex-Paintballers out there?
