    k. so I have a g&g m4 raider with a stock polycarbonate hop up and it's not lifting my bbs. Is there anyway I could fix this? or should I buy a new one?

    1. Have you taken the Hopup apart? Or taken the barrel out?
    2. Was it like this when you got it? 3.
Is there any difference between off and all the way on?
    4. What gram bb are you using?

    You probably lost the nub.

You Probobly lost the nub. You mean like brass inner barrel out of the Hopup unit right?

    Edit. Snipe city....

I have used the inner tube of the cheap BIC pens to replace the nub for a harder nub and the insulation from 14awg house wiring for a softer nub. You just need a piece between 1/16th and 1/8th inches long.

yes. I didn't take it completely out. and I spun it a bit until the the one piece that fits the hole went in.

Twisting it may have caused the nub to slip out from under the adjustment arm. If that nub isn't seated between the adjustment arm and the bucking, you will get the exact symptoms you are describing.

No, that can damage the bucking, you need to simply completely disassemble the hop-up unit and re-assemble everything correctly, after inspecting every part for damage. And of course make sure you actually have all the parts.
