So I ordered this battery from Hobby King (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=20461) , and after changing the connectors I charged it and plugged it in and it works. What I want to know is if it will hurt my Ares G36c? I had help getting the gun and one person said to stay below 2200 mah and others said to get as high mah as you can fit in your gun.

    Thanks in advance

At 7.4v and a 25C discharge rate, you'll be absolutely fine. And yes, in general, you want to get the highest mAh that will fit in your gun. That battery is just fine.

You should be fine, although you didn't need anything close to that high of a discharge, at that capacity.

Thank you! I wasn't wanting to destroy my airsoft gun and I tend to become a little paranoid about these kind of things

Noo. Not at all. You'd need this to fry your G36.
