If you're really set on getting a sniper, I'd recommend a JG BAR-10, and should have an extra 300-500$ for upgrades. The majority sniper builds I've seen that aren't just the stock rifle with a scope slapped on are gonna run you around $400-500, just keep that in mind. Unless you have that cash (which you may, I don't know,) your dreams of being an airsoft sniper is limited greatly.

I agree with clinically proven. Before you purchase a sniper rifle and be disappointed, look into the sniper rifle upgrade threads and check some out online to give you a better idea.
Let me do a comparison of two guns out of the box (the numbers are from my head and from experience playing)
Cm028 - 115 feet of range. 400 fps. Torso shot accuracy at 100 feet. Semi and full auto.
Stock JG bar 10 - 125 feet of range. 450 fps. Torso shot accuracy at 100 feet. Single shot.
After ~$400 upgrades each;
Cm028 - 275 feet of range. 450 fps. Torso accuracy at ~225 feet. Semi auto.
JG bar 10 - 350 feet of range. 550 fps. Torso accuracy at 300+ feet.

So what I am trying to show you is that if you want to even stand a chance against players with a sniper rifle you will definitely need to dump some money into the gun, doesn't have to be $400, but a stock gun won't cut it.
Lastly, if you do purchase a sniper rifle, please please please for the love of airsoft, buy a gun that is fully upgradeable. Do not buy some strange proprietary gun because you will never be able to increase the performance.
To answer your question: No, that would not be a good gun to bring to a game. Expect to be out ranged, out gunned, and out maneuvered. If you insist on purchasing a sniper rifle, at least consider buying a JG bar-10 or similar rifle.
Good luck, airsoft sniping is really satisfying once you get the hang of it and your gun cooperates.

Talking effective range, a snipe rifle shooting 330fps puts in the effective range of most $150 AEGs. So you will be firing 1 shot every 5-6 seconds. Those AEGs will fire 12-15 shots every second. So 1 vs 60. Can you go out and play? Sure. Have fun? Sure. But you will either be walking to the respawn alot more than your buddies or will be outside of your effective range that you are really just an onlooker.

If you want to snipe, I would go DMR route and get an AEG long barrel gun. That way you get automatic fire now and can build into a gun with nice range and power later.
