I wouldn't risk it. Besides looking like a mallninja, these airsoft helmets have no safety ratings due to them being Chinese. Go to a bike shop or a sports store and get a good, rated one. You only get one brain, so don't spill it on the side of the road.

This. It's not even the fact that they're Chinese; regardless of manufacturer, these things are built for looks (they're replicas), not safety. Bicycle helmets are constructed of materials that are, and specifically designed to be, impact resistant.

There are some things in life that you should never be cheap about, and safety is one of them. Buy an actual bike helmet.

 

What the above comments said. What you could do though, if you don't care about realism or looks, is go for a bike helmet that looks somewhat like a certain airsoft version, and then add stuff/customize it. Some look pretty similar, and most people wouldn't know the difference.

 

You could get a smooth topped skateboard helmet and paint it or put a cover on it, maybe some accessories and it would probably look good.
