CO2 in a green gas magazine

I want a CQB Master super Alpha. The people at evike.com said that you could use co2 in this pistol and that the gun can withstand the co2 pressure. Now, I am wondering how do you put co2 into a green gas magazine. If anyone has this gun, is it a good buy and does anyone use CO2 in a green gas magazine and how will it perform? Thank you.

Absolutely not. The pressure differences could cause the magazine to rupture. Locally I have seen one magazine strip out its valve threads and send it shooting across the room. Green gas/Propane is about 110 PSI whereas at about 70 degrees, co2 produces in the area of 850 PSI.

That said, there are co2 magazines for the Alpha/Hi-capas. These use the small 12 gram co2 powerlets. These can be expensive if purchased at a field(Typically 50 cents per.) but if ordered in bulk online can be had for less than half that.

They are all going to be about the same price anywhere you look.

Check ASGI, Evike, Airslat, Airsoft Megastore, etc... and get them from whoever has them in stock.

If you want cheap, CO2 is not the way to go. Check out propane as a power source. Startup cost is 30 bucks and canisters last about 6 times as long as green gas cylinders and cost 3.50 at your typical hardware store. The drawback is that your floating valve assembly is no longer self maintaining, but you have to clean and oil the rest of the gun's working parts regularly anyway.
