Hello everyone
I recently got my EF CQB M4 fixed and I'm having some trouble with double feeding, in short its kinda if a mini shotgun firing to shots at once is my hop up the problem? I also have a 6.03mm barrel in. Would a pro-win hop up fix this?

Thanks
Chris

also are m4s always this problematic?

If its a stock bucking I would replace it with a lonex or G&G green. If you really want a good bucking go for a prommy purple

As Danny said, the bucking trends to be an issue with double feeding.

The forward part of the bucking is a designed to provide enough force so that a bb doesn't enter the hop up unless pushed by your air nozzle.

In some cases, force of the mag feeding overpowers a weak bucking and you double feed. The cheapest alternative is, as afore mentioned, get a new bucking.

A good bucking is a cheap fix and will help performance in the long run.

Generally, there isn't much reason to replace a stock hopup chamber. So as long as it applies pressure to the nub, and you seal it well... It'll be fine.

Airsoft guns are finicky machines, they can be problematic. With the right care and tune up once in awhile however, they can perform solidly for years.

A prowin hop up will do little to nothing in most cases, and are VERY overhyped, if you want the best of the best go with a prommy hop up, m nub, and prommy purple or g&g green bucking flat hopped with .28+ good bbs, THAT will do wonders
I keep hearing that pro-win are very over hyped. just a few things #1 what is a flat hop, I hear about them don't know what they do, #2 does my fps matter? I get like 345. and last what parts fit the prommy? also will it fit my gun? it uses the single wheel hop-up

Thanks
Chris

Hell no, it has no nub. Even if you wanted no nob for flat hopping reasons, just buy a Lonex bucking and cut the nub and slit. lonex bucking are only $5 and if you eff up just buy another one but chances are you will get it right the first try if you have never cut a bucking before.

ProWin is overrrated, but they still make a good series of HopUps. I had one in my JG G36K for a minute... but it turned out that it sat 1mm farther OUT the outter barrel assembly, which in turn made it 1mm closer to the end of the air nozzle, which meant that bbs stopped feeding due to the now undersized entry. It was a sweet piece though... but I ended up with one from SHS HopUp and a Lonex hopup. They both function pretty much identical.

#1 Flat Hop is basically a Flat and Wider nub combined with a bucking that has 100% smooth inside and no mound in it. What this does, is it provides at least twice as much surface area from the nub/bucking when the bb passes though, giving it much more stability and spin.

#2 FPS only matters if you're trying to get some serious range, and/or utilize heavier bbs(like .30 or higher). FPS has serious limits at fields and indoor areas, so check with your local airsoft place first. FPS also helps you hit the target faster, potentially. For CQB, don't bother. Keep your FPS right around 325 or whatever the limit is by your airsoft establishment.

Lol and I just noticed my profile pic, I forgot I had that

Most parts will fit the prommy, and fitment would be easy anyways

Fps does not matter, and there are plenty on guides on how to flat hop, it is a pretty simple concept, so if you understand how a standard hop up works this will make sense.

What you do is remove the nub on the inside of the bucking and remove the alignment line, you do this by flipping the bucking inside out and dremeling them away, then you make a nub or buy a nub that will wrap around the bb better, I will try to take some pictures later when I get home
