Hey as of now I'm making a ghillie suit and thought I would share how easy it is.
Materials:
BDU's (you can get some from a swat meet for like dirt cheap, $5 for me)
Green canvas (2 yards)
Burlap (I used 4 yards)
Shoe goo ( i use tubes total, like $3 a each)
Dye(different kinds of greens, or whatever your environment is)
Netting(mine was $40 but it has like camo material attached that i cut off to hang on my wall. You could probably get like fish netting or a soccer goal net for cheaper. Mine is 10' by10')
spray paint (greens, only need two colors or whatever)
Boonie

I used this as my guide overall, but heres what I did
1. Cut burlap into sections and put them in dye and let them dry and check to see if Iike the color by adding more or taking away some of the dye.
2. Cut burlap into strips. Around 1 inch wide and 9ish inches long, or however long or short you want, i wouldn't go much shorter though.
3. Cut out patches out of canvas and shoe goo on knees. Then when dry spray paint the glossy shoe goo around the edges. (the canvas cushons your fall ALOT surprisingly)
4. Measure netting around your clothes and then shoe goo the intersection part of the netting to the clothes. And then cut off the netting. (Mainly on your back, and back of legs. I have a little on my stomach)
5. Tie the strips around the netting in RANDOM spots with different colors. Then fray the burlap by pulling it apart. It takes a while.
6. Shoe goo canvas on the back so it hangs down on your boonie and then shoe goo netting on the hat and canvas.
Do step 5.
Don't forget to cover glossy shoe goo with paint. I hope it helps. And use the video as guide.
