M4 gear box noise reduction

Hey guys. I'm looking to make my specna arms m4 quieter. I'm really into making guns quieter.

I don't mind the pop of the piston hitting the cylinder head, however the wind up is kindof cringy. I shimmed the gearbox well. And I'm only running the stock 380fps spring. On a side note however, I am running a classic army high torque motor that came with a classic army sport line my freind gutted for hpa use. That and I'm running an 11.1 lithium ion battery by titan.

On a side note, if I could supress the piston slapping noise I am down. I was told to go with a silicon pad over sorbothane, as the time sorbothane takes to fluff out is longer than the firing sequence of an AEG.

Id be down to try a dual sector gear, but I don't want to loose all my guns power, and I don't want to strain the stock internals. I want to get the best efficiency i can get. That and I hear that shs gears don't fit well in the specna gear box. Anyone with knowledge of this particular aeg and molding it could tell me how to muffle this thing without sacrificing efficiency and power?

On the notation of the battery, I am uncomfortable running lipo batteries in my gun because I rarely get to play airsoft. Storage and maintenance is not something I like. I am a hard negative on lipo batteries. It might not make sense to you, but with regard to that personal peve of mine, I am open to suggestions.

I believe a part of it might be the classic army motor, and I might have to correct shimming in 1 area, I believe the middle gear is shimmed 1 thin shim further out from the other 2 gears, and that could be adding stress.

I do have the stock specna motor, however I shimmed the gearbox to the classic army motor. I would like to investigate the middle gear shimming issue, and do motor at the same time. Out of curiosity, what is a good motor for noise reduction. I'll take what I can on the quiet spectrum.

As for padding the cylinder head. I'm down, but I want my build to last long. Would sorbothane, or silicone pad be better than the other, and are there any recommendations for padding materials that can take long term sustained abuse?

I've heard that the specna gearboxes don't fit the shs gears on reddit. I also hear allot of retarded **** on reddit from over opinionated trolls, so idk how accurate that is. Does anyone know what a good low cost gearset that will fit Specna Orion Gearboxes?
