So I am looking at getting a new motor and am looking at the star wei and the ASG the 40K ones, and I have heard the star wei motors stay cool under stress, but I would rather not wait 6 weeks for one from umbrella armories and spend $75. The ASG my main concern with them is the heat how hot do they actually get obviously being speed it would be under more stress and I would be using a 11.1 or a 14.8 but if the star wei is better I will go with that one.

I doubt there's much difference in performance. They're both brushed DC motors with similar TPA and wire gauge, and the magnet strength probably isn't very different. I've had $26 DA motors outperform $65 Tienly motors, so there isn't necessarily much correlation between price and performance when it comes to airsoft motors.
