If you want to spend a little more for a much better product, check out the Dragonred Premium helmets in AOR1.

For the plate carrier, go with the flyye

Do you want your pack to go strait onto your molle? If so I suggest the flyye MBSS backpack(basically a MAP)

Try USTS for pouches

Other than that, looks pretty good IMO

Edit: for BDUs check out Allwins, they're much better than the Emerson. You can also find them on Dragonredairsoft.com with the helmet.

While the DRP is a better product, it isn't "a little bit more". Combatgearing.com is having a sale on the Emerson lids right now, and they are about 60 shipped. The DRP will be about 120 after shipping. Almost twice as much.

Edit: That said, I wouldn't get the base jump version of either lids. Look into the carbon or ballistic.

But remember, with helmets you get what you pay for :p Personally I'd go with a DRP but Emerson works as well.

^ This is true. I bought a IBH helmet awhile back for around 30$. After about one or two games of play the rivet snapped off from the place that holds the chin strap. I most likely will never buy a helmet under 30$ ever again. If you do want to buy a budget helmet get a Emereson.

Edit: Pyro can we give him information on why he likes it so much??

Wow, people are parroting my complaints about parroting. How meta. How utterly annoying.

If you have the money, a DragonRed premium is very nice. If you don't, there's nothing wrong with Emerson's helmets. The shell is more than solid, the OCC-dial system functions fine, the pads are comfortable, and nothing about the attached hardware makes you think it's going to fail. The coloring and finish are mediocre, but spray paint or a cover will take care of that, and painted helmets look much better anyway.

Yeah, I was talking about your post, Tornado. Pyro's post was fine because he was just reporting my opinion. He didn't know specifics of why I like my Emerson FAST, but he knows that I like it. So instead of just saying that they're good helmets without giving cause, he posted the exact right thing: Respected member X says that he likes his." Yeah, it would be great if he knew exactly why I liked it and could link to it or quote it, but he didn't. So instead of BSing or pretending like he knew about the helmet from his own experience, he simply said that I like mine. That gives OP a starting point for his own research. Given the knowledge that Pyro has about FAST helmets, that's the most helpful thing he could say, and that's awesome. Chastising him for it is less awesome.
