I have a cheaper spring shotgun. it has really good range and accuracy for its price but the fps kind of sucks (<300 fps) and i was wondering if i could put a better spring in it (m-120). If so, what spring type (pistol, aeg or sniper)?

The internals will not last with a more powerful spring. The plastic piston or trigger sear will end up breaking.

Well if it is an everblast shotgun I would go ahead and do it. I put a m120 spring in mine and it has been one year and it is still going strong. The spring will add about 50 more feet to the range but it will be a little harder to pump.
i dont care how hard it is to pump, but what spring should i use (aeg, sniper or pistol) or should i just get an AEG one and clip it if it is too long?
I would get an aeg spring, and like you said if it is to long you can always cut it if you need to.
What brand gun do you have? It might not work and clipping the spring is a bad idea.willer2122 said:

Not worth it. It will never be anything like a sniper rifle. You're better off getting an aeg like the cm028.willer2122 said:

Get a 50$ UTG not the cheap ones that break quick. Especially when your gonna try to upgrade the spring if you even can.willer2122 said:
