the 2nd one because of it more fps and instead of tan do black if your gonna do woodland up to you. the first one isn't that great for field and the 2nd one just looks better

the first one is very bland it says in the discription and the second one looks better overall.

I'm so lucky my field dont care about fps limits I can shoot a 700fps and they won't say a thing Untill someone gets hurt bad

Ummm the second one shoots to hot for most outdoor and all indoor fields, at least that would not be allowed where I live.
My local field limits are 450 with .20 and 400 with .25 (outdoor)

And as far as looks, I like the tan rifle compared to all black. Doesn't matter much, eventually I will camo it.

i have both. the s-system is heavier, but the outer barrel has better support. the plain one can fit a 9.6v without modding. both have the same internals and spring. they chrono around 400 fps.
but then again, internals can be changed for whatever performance level you want.

Why does the regular m4 say 340 fps then?

The second one is pretty good but, my friend has the JG m4 614 (or 416) and that is very good for outdoor use!

always ignore the advertised fps. they are always off. same with purchasing springs. they will be off. i bought around 10x sp120's. they range from 380fps to 460fps on the same AEG. m120's range from 360 to 430. lately, i've been purchasing m130's and chopping them down to 400fps.

here's the same plain JG m4. even though it says enhanced, it's the same internals and spring. Muzzle Velocity : 380~460 FPS

Yea I don't know now :( I like the m4a1 because if I ever wanted to do an imitation (my definition of a half a$$ impression) I have learned certain units use the m4a1. This may be a stupid question, but there is a rail under the removable carry handle right?

Yup there is a rail, they arn't bad guns ive used both, they both are cool in their own way. Btw the s-systems's hand guard is a really chunky, weird feeling thing

Oh yeah speaking of hand guards, which might be easier to disassemble?

Just warning you my s-system the battery compartment was very small. It fit the 1100mah 8.4 volt and that was about it. So if you want a bigger battery you will need a PEQ box or carry more then one battery of the small size. I can not speak to the size of the m4a1 as I have not had that version

i suggest saving a little more and getting an m4 with a ris unit and a crane/full stock, it would be the best of both worlds

Thanks but I'm going with the jg m4a1.

I would try to persuade you not to but its your gun not mine:p
What would you try to persuade me to get?

1st reason: the first one you can't fit a 9.6 in it. Which = less power
2nd reason: you want range for field so you want high FPS which = 2nd gun. All arrows point forward 2nd gun so why the first?

The fps is the same, just listed differently on other sites. They are both about 420. Besides, the 9.6v just gives me more RPS but I will be on semi.
