I got the Youth NC Star vest for my birthday. I am now thinking of buying a M4. Does anybody know if this vest will fit M4 clips in it?

1) It's a MAG, not a clip. Stop listening to CoD.
2) That vest is garbage. Like seriously, I'm not sure if you could have bough a worse one. NC Star is horrible to begin with, and it's a cross draw. There's a reason that nobody uses tactical vests. Save up for a Flyye or Pantac chest rig or PC.

Hey guys, if he was asking for advice about buying a vest, your posts would be fine. He's not, which means you're being jerks. If you're not going to answer the question being asked, don't post. Furthermore, you don't rag on somebody for gear that he already has, especially when it was given as a gift. I get it, you see me fighting with people about Condor and NC Star every day and you think that you're doing the same thing. You're not. I get on people's cases when they recommend bad gear to others. There's a huge difference between bombing a guy's thread when he asked a straightforward question and shutting down an idiot who won't stop telling everybody he sees to buy bad gear. Don't do the former, it's classless.

You didn't provide a link to the product, so I don't know for sure if what you have and what Google is showing me are the same thing. The vest that Google is showing me will definitely hold M4 mags. If you could link us to the vest that you own, we could tell you for sure (for future reference, any time you have a question about a specific product, you need to provide a direct link to it so that everybody can be on the same page).

Should fit 2 mags or possibly 4 if those pouches are stretchable. Bet on 2 though.

And nuckle, sorry to be a pain but there is nothing wrong with crossdraws for the casual airsofter.

I was 29 when I started, and I used a crossdraw for the better part of a year, never gave me any problems.
It's a youth vest, meant for youth just starting out. When and if he continues in the sport, he'll upgrade

There absolutely is something wrong with crossdraws for anybody, but this isn't the place to rehash all of their inherent inefficiencies and flaws. If you want to read about it, search my posts for the word "crossdraw." I have a paragraph that I copied and pasted into numerous posts that should turn up near the top.

That will definitely hold at least 1 M4 mag per pouch.
