This is the one I own. I do suggest the doctor sight. It is a nice addition over using the iron sights on the acog.

I was looking on getting one with a doctor sight, but idk what scope is used by seals..and I havent heard to good on things about that scope, how has it done for you? do a review for me?

Btw, SOPMOD Block II includes an ACOG w/ a Doctor sight, so yeah, SEAL's use it.

Well with acogs (real or replica) you will find that the eye relief is not great. These replicas are actually pretty impressive for the price especially considering its a replica of something that will cost you a G note easy. The doctor sight is smaller than you expect when you get it. Its small, but its easier to use than the iron sights on the sight. I personally think that 4x magnification is a bit much for airsoft. Its nice at times but I find myself using an EO tech with a side flip QD 3x magnifier instead. As for the piece it is very solid. It does hold a zero very well (it actually held up pretty well on my AR15 while playing with it for ****s and giggles). The piece looks great and makes an M4 look pretty Bamf.

Overall I have zero complaints about it. Now my real one isnt the same model as the replica (my real one doesnt have the fiber optics) so I cant compare them too much to a real one, but the trades and feel are pretty close. Its effective and will be thoroughly enjoyed. Great piece for the price.

It is adjustable for W and E, clarity is not an issue, it is a solid mount (was not phased and did not wobble on RS), trades look pretty good (like I said its not identical to my real one, but my real one is not as high end of a model as this replicates. Looks good tho), and its all metal (pretty solid). If an ACOG is what you want, this is as good as it will get for the price, unless you find a crack head on the street willing to sell you a real one for $30 cuz he needs his fix.

I'll be honest. That is perfect for airsoft. It looks good and doesnt have magnification. I'll be honest, we engage mostly at 150 feet and under. Really dont need magnification.

I rock this lil guy behind an aimpoint or an Eotech:

Magnification when you need it, out of the way when you dont. I use that one a lot.

 

I want a magnified acog because our field is huge, 99acres.ir makes it hard to look into/at the city when my fireteam cant see anybody and I dont have any "snipers" with me

 

good news! should be ordering the gun and stock/battery here in the next few days. trying to decide wether to buy the gun now and use the next paycheck for stock and battery or buy accsessories now and use next paycheck for gun..hmm

 

i would get the gun first so you know what accesories would look and work best for it in person
