I wanna save up for a 229. Does anybody have any brand recommendations? It would be great to have it be as realistic as possible, I want to use it to train for the coast guard.
Eh, I see what you're saying buster, my only gripe with kwa ( I have the m226 ) is the cycle rate, it's not really my only gripe, but it's a pain, it's relatively slow, somewhere between glock and USP, it's not bad, but the kjw seems to have a better cycle rates, I have shot them both side by side, the kjw was more snappy, though for realism, I have to agree, the kwa matches up a bit better, still, for skirmish ability, I'd take that kjw any day.theonlyBuster said:Most realistic would be KWA (KWA M229). If you don't mind a few minor differences in comparison to the real steel as well as a better performing version in the airsoft world, KJW. KWA is more 1:1 scale with the real steel in comparison to KJW. If it weren't for the fact that you wanted the closest to the real steel counter-part, I'd say KJW or TM.
Please read WHY I recommended the KWA. I never said the KWA was better performing, in fact I said the exact opposite. Please don't get the kwa over the kjw, the kjw 226 is one of the best ive used.
I wasn't necissarily responding to you XD. Sorry i didn't mean to offend.theonlyBuster said:I'm with you badger, I prefer the KJW myself.

No problem, if you've got further questions, post here, or pm me/ other gbb people, we're all happy to help.OfficerMendy said:Yeah I'll probably just go with the KJW, they are cheaper, I'm also not training 24/7. I play games at fields from time to time. Thanks for the help guys! ; )
KWA doesn't make a P229. Only KJW and Inokatsu make a P229 to my knowledge.Does the kwa P229 have the correct DA/SA trigger action?
