Deans to Tamiya

I have a gun wired to deans I bought a Dean to tamiya connector cord and it doesnt work. Do I have to have a deans battery??

His fuse may be blown, if it has a fuss that is.

Well it weird I got the connector and I plugged the battery in fully charged it shot twice then sounded like it died out.
Your fuse probably blew or the GB is locked.

That sounds like a short. Take the motor out and see if it spins. If it does, the GB is locked, if it doesn't, your either your motor shorted or your wiring has some problems.

Are you sure none of the wires have gotten in an awkward position in the grip and is clamping the motor? You should replace all your connectors with deans connectors by the way.

He means the battery, that's why he said to replace ALL the connectors.

Exactly, if you use a Tamiya to Deans adapter, that removes the point of having a Deans connector on your gun.
