Anyone who tells you that TMs 1911s aren't good probably hasn't touched one.

Well if you ask me the moment i saw the TM MEU and how it was packaged i was almost ready to buy it.Then someone told me i wouldnt be able to get a full mag empty because of the gas capacity of the mag. What they also told me is : Get the KJW KP-07 its exactly the same but takes both CO2 and GG mags and also full metal...

KJW is a solid choice, but TM in general has some of the best gas efficiency on the market. Add in the plastic slide and it takes less gas per shot to function. You shouldn't have any efficiency issues with TM.

As far as i know the ASG STI TACMASTER is a KJW KP07 rebrand so how solid is it really? Also it may be a little childish to say but i hate the orange nozzle the KJW/ASG have in the pistol.

Indeed although i've heard marui's 1911's arent so good.Im also not a big fan of the hi-capa.So right now i skipped glocks because i just love the style of the 1911.Right now i am in between the ASG STI TACMASTER and the Elite Force 1911 TAC.
You've already been told to avoid the elite force. There are upgradable, more durable, better performing options for pretty much the same price (KJW 1911, etc.)

I personally think 1911s are the nicest looking easily. They will have efficiency issues with metal frames and slides. It's not necessary to get these ,but personally I want too so that's why I decided against going for a 1911. While rather going for either HK 45/usp by Tokyo marui or a glock. HK 45/usp having a lot less issues ootb and better performance ,but less parts, but don't be scared aftermarket support is coming for these models.

In my personal experience, every TM GBB I have purchased has worked flawlessly out of the box. This includes the Glocks. They all seem to have great gas efficiency (including my single stack 1911) but they all have the stock plastic slides (at least 2 mags worth per fill). My only upgraded TM GBB (hi-capa) has a metal slide and 150% recoil spring and still gets 2 mags per fill.

I own some KWA GBBs (NS2) and have to say the TMs have them beat certainly for accuracy and gas efficiency.

Having worked on many of both, I'm 99% confident in saying that ASG is not a KJW rebrand.

I used a Tokyo Mariu Glock for over well over 10 years of heavy skirmishing on duster gas. During the summer use duster gas and green gas for winter. I have a TM HK45 now but the 18c i loved so much I'm buying another. Over the years they had a few minor changes to the glock line. The TM G22 is there newest "updated" glock. They are easy to work on and I used .30s effectively at Gamepod on duster gas. I had a nineball barrel and maple leaf 60 in there couldn't have been happier. The full auto function is fun for kicks but honestly, I rarely used it. Definitely going get another 17/18c. Mine was first a gen 18c too and at the time of purchase, I felt unique as Boone really had them yet. I've been airsofting since 2000 very loyally, and I'd go with the 17 maybe 18c if you care for full auto. Don't worry about reliability or what people say on here you will be fine if you want F/A.

Wisdom:
Green gas winter
Duster gas summer

I have not had problems of the slide blowing but have seen it blown out of proportion when a kid uses green gas on a summer day and blows his slide then goes home and writes about it for everyone to read. Then all of a sudden, everyone has a friend who's glock has blown its slide.... the phenomenon

Never blew my slide...

Honestly, go with the TM. No questions asked, and I write from expiernce no chairsofting expertise here, just solid experience and you can't go wrong with a Mario they are truly the only GBB pistol that gives me the performance I want.

Goodluck friend on your GBB journey.

How do you find the HK 45 with its lack of after market support?

I have a prommy/Laylax barrel and and maple leaf 60. Same as the TM G18c. I play airsoft, so I don't care about cosmetics or metal slides, internally, Maurice are wonderful the way the are. I bent the hopup arm for more hop like my old 18c and SS'ed it the same way as my old 18c, with pen tube. Other then that I have had no problems. I'm a believer in playing allot more then babying my guns with after market "upgrade" parts. I'll even pass on the metal slide.

Define "will not shoot properly"? So far you're the only person who's reported less than perfect out of the box performance from a TM on GG/Propane.
Apologies not too familiar with the correct technical terms, perhaps the correct way to say it is that it does not cycle properly. I see you are very knowledgeable related to them.

Here is a video that shows the exact issue I have, where it shoots but the upper receiver does not move at all.

When the magazine is almost empty the gun shoots those 2-3 bbs beautifully and the recoil is wonderful. It was tested with propane and green gas with TM and WE magazines. Understand from the comments on that video that is normal because of not using duster gas.

Sorry if I am hijacking thread.

Have you tried duster gas? My kjw g23 does the same thing when the gas pressure in the mag is too high for the valve knocker to properly push it in to release gas.
