Now that PTW's have been around for a while alot of forums are buzzing. Are they worth the 2000-8000 $ investment? How have they held up in the Airsoft environment over the years....
The Feedback is mixed but still not positive, with alot of maintenance issues and the high cost of replacement parts and in certain cases labor, are some PTW owners feeling the heat?
Is fielding the Epic rifle of the gods worth it? Does it actually shoot blue arches of lightning!?
Systema's C.E.O has gone on the record saying; The PTW is just that, a PTW and not an Airsoft gun' It is expected to only use about 1000 rounds before being rebuilt. The main aim of the PTW is to provide military users with the ability to train on how to use the weapon, firing, correct method of aiming etc etc. It was not made for the Airsoft/skirmishing market. Our key market is the military and NOT Airsoft.
Love them or hate them, with the money alot of Airsoft players have invested into PTW platforms I'm sure the fallout will be huge!
