Can anyone tell me where I can get the best price on a KWA PTS Mega Arms MKM CQB GBB? The best I can find is $420.00 from the usual Evike or Airsoft GI.

I own a KWA Kriss vector and it’s hands down one of the best gbb guns I have owned. I have own G&P and WE and they all have issues. I have heard good things about the LM4 the other thing is I don’t want to dump a ton of money building an M4. The PTS comes with standard upgrades I’m going to have to replace on most other stock gbb rifles. So what is your suggestion? And I am not at all interested in any AEG. Been down that road too can’t stand the sound or the feel of the trigger it’s not even close to the real thing.

That's because the Vector is pretty much the one GBBR that KWA made that's actually good (side note: their M9 is actually pretty good, too). Have you looked into VFC (HK416A5) and Vipertech? ANY GBBR build WILL require a good deal of money in upgrades. GBBRs require much more money than AEGs, for the most part, to be skirmishable. I don't know *where* you heard LM4s are reliable, but I'd be very skeptical of whoever you heard that from...

The KWA LM4, while an ok GBBR, is vastly outclassed by GHK and TM. Even WE beats out the LM4 in terms of sheer parts compatibility, parts availability and overall cost of the platform. The Western Arms style is by far the most popular. The WA style includes your JG, S&T, King Arms, G&P and Viper Tech, with G&P and VT being the leaders of the pack. If you go for value, G&P will be your best bet. If you want fit, finish, and quality, VT is your bet. Do know that the VT will cost you a very pretty penny.

The main issue with VFC GBBs is their lack of readily available aftermarket parts. VFC does make a good GBB, but when something breaks, finding parts can be hard.

KJ Works makes some good platforms. Their KC02 is a very popular platform with a good bit of aftermarket support. Its reliable and performs well. If you like the smaller Ruger 10/22 style of firearms, then you'll like the KC02.

I'd say GHK over G&P, GHK's AR uses a modified WA system so 'true' WA mags don't work without removing the delayer but GHK mags are absolute tanks so I'd use them instead anyway.

Vipertech is definitely best though. lol

ps. for information's sake I believe the Inokatsu M4 gbbrs are also WA system but I believe the consensus is their design is outdated.

Ok I decided on the GHK M4A1 mod1 gbb. This gun looks like it has amazing build quality with more stock steel parts than all others. Not to mention comes with the DD rail which I was going to up grade to anyway. Looks like a win win just waiting for it to come in stock at Evike since I have a $110 credit with them. Thanks for everyone’s advice and input.

Inokotsu IP was purchased, back in ~2012 and is still part of the Cybergun Holdings.
